We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in Rural Eastern Ontario. As a Caregiver (PSW), you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

About the Role

As a Caregiver (PSW), you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to live independently and safely. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Supporting clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises
  • Meeting the safety needs of clients and using equipment safely and properly
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24.50, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive training program to ensure your success as a Caregiver (PSW). You will also have access to our 24/7 support centre and assistance related to client care.

Requirements

To be successful as a Caregiver (PSW), you must have:

  • A valid certificate for PSW, DSW, HCA, or foreign-trained nurse
  • A vehicle and valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel to remote locations
  • A clean driver's abstract (if owning a vehicle)
  • A criminal record check/vulnerable sector screening (less than 1 year old)
  • A negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (less than 2 years old)
  • Two professional references
