Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our acute medical unit. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to promote health, wellness, and self-care.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Completion of Cardiology component of Post Basic Critical Care course or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
