We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other specialized instruments.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program.
- Current registration or eligible for registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM) required.
- Knowledge of laboratory technique and theory essential.
- Ability to make simple mathematical calculations essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a laboratory setting essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills essential and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills essential.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment essential.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a laboratory setting. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
