Job Responsibilities

As a Continuing Care Assistant with Health Careers in Saskatchewan, you will provide personal care and support to clients to encourage their optimal level of functioning. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as supporting clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living
  • Support clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs
  • Work independently to provide care and support to clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements

  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)

  • Basic computer skills

**Knowledge and Abilities:**

  • Ability to work independently
