Job Description

As an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, you will possess a strong foundation in nursing and the legal authority to order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform specific procedures. You will work within a framework of evidence-based primary care, holism, health promotion, and disease prevention, building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment strategies that reflect in-depth knowledge of the care population
  • Support inter-professional collaboration and participate in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects
  • Conduct community needs assessments and develop strategies to address identified needs
  • Develop and implement holistic care plans that promote health and well-being
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience
  • One (1) year of experience in forensic/clinical treatment with youth/families
  • Two (2) years of advanced RN (NP) experience in an applicable area
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
