Job SummaryThe Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising field personnel to ensure successful project completion on schedule and within budget. This includes ensuring established company goals are realized within quality standards while administering world-class construction safety practices.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel
- Ensure project completion on schedule and within budget
- Administer construction safety practices and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Work with the Project Manager to coordinate project activities and ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain client relationships to enhance future business
- Ticketed Journeyman with 10+ years of experience in a technical field
- Advanced troubleshooting and communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures for effective safety operations
- Strong time management and computer skills
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures and heights
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions
- Requisition supplies and materials
- Take actions to deal with delays, bad weather, or emergencies
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, and contractors
- Direct and supervise workers
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms
- Plan, organize, and direct construction activities
- Administration and management principles
- Building and construction knowledge
- Personnel and human resources management
- Public safety and security knowledge
- Mechanical knowledge
- Design and coordination skills
- Time management and problem-solving skills
