Key Responsibilities:
  • Zone the department to maintain a clean and organized shopping environment
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products to ensure freshness and quality
  • Verify that merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors
  • Adhere to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
  • Ensure the department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Stock merchandise, pick, downstock if applicable, and apply product protection when required
