What you'll do

As part of the Product Engineering Center Of Excellence, the Delivery Program Manager manages and is accountable for delivery key technical and transformational programs. These program are critical to organizational effectiveness and efficiency through developing and delivering tools that help manage knowledge and performance of product & IT delivery across the organization. Delivery Program Manager will manage multiple programs or initiatives specifically development of knowledge portal, roll out of performance management tool as well as ongoing development of engineering innovation tools including AI for SDLC. The Delivery Program manager ensure adherence to agile best practices within the enterprise to help maintain and promote agile management practices and professionalism. The Delivery Program Manager must create an environment that facilitates positive Squad Member experience as well as provide guidance and management to all members to ensure outcomes are met. You will adhere to the Enterprise Project Management Office guidelines concerning project deliverables and funding requirements.

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage Delivery of multiple Products and efficiency improvement rollout transformation efforts
  • Facilitates, participates, and collaborates in cross functional Quarterly Planning events (PI Planning) sessions to raise milestones, issues, dependencies, etc.
  • Create and communicate the planning calendars for Iterations and Releases as well as coordinate all lead up activities to the Quarterly Planning Events while summarizing the Quarterly Objectives and publishing them to provide visibility and transparency
  • Support issues that exceed the capability of a Scrum Master to address
  • Ensure continuous improvement activities are occurring in the Team
  • Create and execute on a retrospective improvement roadmap aligned to overall transformation, by analyzing all activities and actions that have previously been performed and finding ways to improve each process.
  • Identify dependencies and determines how to manage those dependencies without impacting the progress of the Delivery Team. Creates and maintains the Release Board.
  • Create metrics and tools, or ensure adoption of the Agile COE metrics and tools, to measure success and recognize progress of the team. Has the ability to identify and utilize beneficial metrics, interpreting them and course correcting.
  • ole-model and teach the team and ensure adherence to Agile delivery practices as documented in the PlayBook
  • Provide a high level of relationship management, resolving conflicts and enabling discussions between stakeholders, management, co-workers and team members with varied interests
  • Provide continuous monitoring of project for Management oversight by leveraging various Enterprise Project Management Office tools
  • Refreshes internal systems on a timely manner to reflect changes when it comes to project Status, RAID and financials registry
  • Work closely with product owner to ensure project and deliverables including financials is in alignment with overall vision and approved budget

What you bring

  • Education in Computer Science or similar is preferred
  • Familiarity with traditional and Agile operating and delivery models
  • Technical Delivery or software development background
  • Experience in managing large transformations, building internal knowledge portals and building Products Adobe Experience Management
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience with Agile, preferably having led large organizational change and transformation initiatives
  • Strong Program Management Skills with hands on experience in managing multiple projects
  • Dynamic, ability to work in a changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership and ability to influence and maintain focus on sustainable results
  • High levels of emotional intelligence
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor all roles on a Scrum team.
  • Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizational layers
  • Ability to scale thinking and analysis from strategic to detail and vice versa
  • Executive presence; strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Conflict resolution and effective mediation and influencing skills
  • Very strong customer and delivery focus

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Retail Business/Technology background and experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSM) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) or equivalent formal education in Agile
  • Specific experience in Agile methodologies such as SAFe
