Duties & Responsibilities

Install and maintain hardware for the Wenco Fleet Management System (FMS) on mobile mining equipment.
Deploy and manage Rajant networking infrastructure.
Maintain onboard radios and trailer repeaters for the industrial network.
Efficiently manage parts inventory.
Prioritize and perform repairs related to radio systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and components on mobile mining equipment.
Handle AC voltage and wiring, including minor repair of generators for high-voltage lighting and heavy equipment heater systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualification

Red Seal Certification (Electrician)
A minimum of 4-5 years of related industrial experience, specifically in a maintenance capacity within a mining or similar heavy industrial environment.
Familiarity with Wenco Fleet Management System (FMS) or similar dispatch system hardware and software.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing radio hardware.
Completion of Grade 12
Valid Drivers License

Technical Competencies & Skills

Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts; on a 7x7 rotation.
Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, especially with dispatch personnel, equipment operators, and the IT Department.
Physical fitness to perform labor-intensive tasks, including working at heights and in tight areas.
Proficient in network troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects and tasks effectively.
Good English communication skills both oral and written.
Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
Proven safety and attendance record.
Knowledge of computer maintenance systems.
