Visual Merchandiser

Location: CHANEL Toronto Boutiques, ON

Reports to: Head of Visual Merchandising

Contract: Temporary until end-of August 2025 (maternity leave replacement), Full-time

Your role @Chanel:

The Visual Merchandiser will maintain the highest standards of merchandising and meticulous presentation, following company guidelines and ensuring brand cohesion across the boutiques. You will uphold the brand image though all categories and presentation methods, with a view to maximise visual impact and commercial potential. You will also partner with the boutique teams to come up with ways to drive business, as well as aid with promotional activities within store or off-site, windows and special events.

What impact you can create at Chanel:

Your working environment will be mainly in the retail space. This position will allow you to work at different store locations in Toronto.

  • Ensure efficient monitoring and review of suitable weekly journey planners, relevant weekly reports and other necessary administration from Visual Merchandising;
  • Implement interior designs, plans and window schemes, ensuring brand consistency and delivering a high level presentation of windows and boutique displays;
  • Keep track of boutique needs when it comes to prop ordering and replacement;
  • Consistent visits to ensure newness and clean presentation in the boutiques at all times;
  • Work with in-store teams on maintenance & presentation expectations;
  • Implement designs and plans, which may involve manual work including lifting, carrying and climbing ladders and overnight work.
