YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The
Visual Merchandiser is responsible for visual merchandising of retail accounts in Canada to align with marketing strategies aimed at driving business.

Utilizing clear communication and strong attention to detail, this individual has a sensitivity to luxury to partner with retail teams, wholesale vendors and across internal departments.

This role is based in Toronto and requires travel.

The role reports to the Country Director.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Manage visual calendar to prepare for installations and/or floor changes across Canadian store portfolio.
  • Execute and supervise interior changeovers and installations for store or store(s) listed above, including by not limited to construction of any interior/ window sets, onsite prop handling and prop placement.
  • Supervise and manage daily interior set maintenance for store(s), this includes repositioning mannequins, repropping, and sourcing alternative product for interior presentations.
  • Conduct walkthroughs of locations, identifying opportunities to improve overall visual and creative appearance of the site.
  • Work hand in hand with merchandising and retail teams to understand company and store needs and create floor mapping with store set up proposals in preparation of the finalized store set up.
  • Follow marketing requirement to implement any planned projects.
  • Provide active support to instore events and activations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1/2+ years of experience in visual merchandising and/or visual presentation/ display/ fine art/ fashion styling experience
  • Flexibility to work outside standard working hours (i.e. evenings after 9pm and weekends)
  • Proficient in Power Point, Word, Excel, and Photoshop

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Ability to balance multiple projects (maintenance and installations) at once.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with an ability to meet tight deadlines with mínimal direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sensitivity to luxury aesthetic
  • Dynamic, innovative and a strong fashion sense
  • Available to work overnight shifts based on the business need/directive.
  • Hardworking and ability to work independently.
