As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and be part of a team that values hard work and dedication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate and quality care to residents
- Monitoring residents' health and implementing physicians' orders
- Planning and directing the work of nursing and personal care staff
- Overseeing the wound care program
Requirements:
- Eligible for or possess a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of MDS and computerized documentation
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices
- Effective human relations skills and commitment to working with seniors
