Job Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in growing our customer base by selling a range of products and services to new and existing customers. You will also assist in training new Inside Sales Representatives on product knowledge and system training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers, providing sales and quotation support, and upselling products and services whenever possible.
  • Provide technical support to customers and other staff on product applications, and assist with writing up customer orders.
  • Assist in training new staff on products, computer systems, and customer interactions.
  • Perform cash and sales transactions, and order entry, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ship and track orders, maintain rental inventory records, and ensure billing is completed each month.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing publications, attending product knowledge meetings, and educational workshops.
  • Follow all safety practices as outlined in the health and safety manual.
Nature and Scope
  • Exercise independent judgment to determine the best approach to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior level support personnel, and contribute to their professional development.
  • Work in a comfortable indoor area, with frequent opportunities to move about.
Education and Experience
  • Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
  • Generally 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
