Security Guard Wanted in Winnipeg

We are seeking a Part-Time Security Guard to work at a Commercial site in Winnipeg, MB. As a security guard, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety of workers for some of the biggest brands out there.

We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
  • Conduct scheduled patrols per shift using G-track device
  • Perform environmental checks – water leaks, excessive air flow, unusual noises etc.
  • Contact maintenance for any lighting, heating and other problems
  • Conduct interior patrol of the building according to the schedule
  • Deter criminal activity
  • Respond to various emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
  • Enforce Property regulations and city By-laws on the client's site
  • Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports
  • Provide Excellent customer service
Requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be good with Technology
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
  • Must be able to stay back, if the client modifies the shift as per their need
  • Must be able to do long patrols for 3 buildings
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must be able to Night shifts
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
