Job Description: Facilitates and coordinates activities, clinical services and resources that support patient plant care. Incumbent is responsible for family follow-up, support and information transfer. The Communicable Disease Control/Immunization Program Coordinator is accountable for planning, implementation and evaluation of Communicable Disease Control (CDC) and Immunization programs. The CDC/Immunization Program Coordinator's scope of practice requires a broad knowledge base and autonomous decision-making skills, with a specialized focus on implementation of provincial standards related to Communicable Disease Control and Immunization programs. The coordinator role provides program orientation, ongoing in servicing and support to staff in CDC and Immunization program standards. This position is also responsible for auditing program standards for staff adherence, as well as CDC reporting required by the Ministry

  • Clinical Practice CNA certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Information

  • Candidates with a minimum of 5 years recent relevant experience
  • Maintenance of required competencies related to management of anaphylaxis and immunization

  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
