Advanced Practice Nurse

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients in a mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in mental health care.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years of nursing experience, with a focus on mental health.
- One (1) year of experience in forensic/clinical treatment with youth/families.
- Two (2) years of advanced RN (NP) experience in an applicable area.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
Licenses:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS).

- Knowledge in leadership strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and the community at large.
- Ability to demonstrate appropriate level of professional conduct and judgment.
- Ability to function effectively in high-stress and emergency situations.

- Practices within Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
