The Therapeutic Assistant will work cooperatively with the inter-disciplinary team to carry out individual care plans and communicate patient-specific information.

About the Role
  • Assist in provision of health, health promotion and therapeutic services to patients
  • Work cooperatively with the inter-disciplinary team to carry out individual care plans
  • Communicate patient-specific information to enhance the level of knowledge of the treatment team
About You
  • Grade XII plus a one year certificate or diploma from a Recreation or Therapeutic Recreation Program
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Current St. John Ambulance First Aid course preferred
  • Current certification in Non Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) an asset
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset
Working Conditions
  • Permanent, Full-Time / 75 Hours Bi-Weekly
  • $24.69 Hourly
