Join our team as a Registered Nurse Manager and take on a leadership role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement resident care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in assessing residents and monitoring their health, identifying changes in condition and referring to doctors as necessary.
- Participate in in-service education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Take charge of the facility in the absence of the Director of Care.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous managerial experience in long-term care an asset.
- Experience working with cognitively impaired residents.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices, including Infection Control Practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently and as part of a team.
