About the Role

Minto Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Construction Team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our health and safety program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and implement Minto's regulatory health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain safety files and log activities, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Labour regulations.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs, including E-Compliance implementation.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Host and facilitate joint health and safety meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma and relevant post-secondary education.
  • 2-5 years of health and safety experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable and reliable with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
