Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support services to Care Coordinators, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Process new referrals, orders for services, supplies, and equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage confidential patient records, maintaining the highest level of discretion and security.
- Enter, update, and maintain a high volume of patient data in our electronic database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries from patients, families, and service providers, providing timely and effective support.
- Offer backup support to other positions as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- A college diploma in the health or social services field, or business/office administration, is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related office experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional administrative support.
- Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills, with proficiency in database software, MS Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Advanced multi-tasking skills, with a proven ability to meet performance and service goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact sensitively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong listening skills.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends to meet organizational needs.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office administrative procedures/concepts.
