Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a talented Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy operations.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $68.10 per hour. A candidate's experience and knowledge, as well as the geographical region in which the position is located, may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position.
