Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Director - Digital Transformation & Innovation to join our team in a leadership role. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the technological landscape of Petro Service Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy, including data management, ERP management, AI, software, and digital transformation.
    • Future strategy should include:
      • The use of IoT-based technologies and analytics to bring new value to the markets served.
      • The process of defining use cases for the application of AI and digital transformation efforts.
    • Lead digitization projects to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Infrastructure and System Management:
    • Assess current and future needs and plan for growth, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems and applications.
    • Manage reporting and analytics, including organizational and customer-facing reporting.
    • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that contribute to the company's strategic objectives.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts, service level agreements, and licensing agreements.
    • Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services on cybersecurity, infrastructure, and help desk.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science.
  • Understanding of SQL, Python, APIs (e.g., REST and SOAP).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity NIST framework.
  • Project management experience (waterfall and agile).
  • Experience with Dynamics (CRM and GP), O365, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse) is an asset.
  • Proven experience building, developing, and leading a team, utilizing excellent people management skills to coach and mentor.
  • Experience working within a matrix-style organizational structure.
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and following a structured sales management process.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and must have a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
