Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at Aecon. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our projects, from planning to delivery.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing project controls systems, managing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project controls systems, including project schedules, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Manage project schedules, including creating and maintaining project timelines, resource loading, and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, including project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project reports, including project status, progress, and issues.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including developing and implementing risk management plans.
- Provide input into the development of project estimates, including cost and resource planning.
- Support the development of project proposals, including project scope, schedule, and budget.
- 10-15 years of experience in project controls, including project scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Experience working in a nuclear industry environment, with knowledge of nuclear regulations and standards.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate project controls teams.
