About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist with SE Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. You will work with a diverse group of clients, providing person-centered care and building strong relationships with them and their families. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive care team, working together to provide high-quality services to clients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and goals
  • Develop and implement client-centered treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to provide coordinated care
  • Participate in our Aphasia program and other specialized services

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologist of Ontario
  • Experience in working with swallowing/dysphagia
  • Understanding of stroke and neuro
  • A valid driver's license and a vehicle
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • A willingness to be flexible in covering assigned area
  • Excellent communication (written and oral)
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Community experience is an asset
