  • Support the ED FED Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager on existing and upcoming project works;
  • Collaborate with external project team members such as Client/Owner, Architects, Designers, and Trade Partners;
  • Prepare and coordinate RFQ/RFP documents;
  • Develop specifications, budget pricing, and coordinate with vendors to source product furniture and medical equipment;
  • Coordinate purchase order information, receive and review project specific shop drawings and meet procurement timelines;
  • Assist in asset tagging of equipment and coordination of asset database;
  • Plan and execute activation management activities (i.e. coordination of delivery, installation, commissioning and clinical acceptance) amongst EllisDon, vendors and user groups;
  • Track project goals and deliverables, and report on monthly progress to client; and,
  • Facilitate weekly and/or monthly FED Team, stakeholder and user group meetings as required.

  • A self-starter, resourceful and detail-oriented;
  • Willing to work from site in Burnaby, BC
  • Experienced or educated in Biomedical, Nursing and/or a similar field (all considered an asset);
  • Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project;
  • Able to independently represent the ED FED Team while exhibiting EllisDon core values;
  • A champion of communication, learning and process improvement;
  • Entrepreneurial and willing to strive towards better project management processes within ED FED;
  • Willing to complete security clearances (as required by Clients); and,
  • Organized and able to (re) prioritize tasks as needed with confidence.
