Occupational Therapist

Join our team at Royal University Hospital as an Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for developing, scheduling, coordinating and delivering occupational therapy services to a unit or designated area. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs for patients
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and develop individualized plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies:
  • Advanced assessment skills
  • Leadership skills
Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Information:
  • Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
