Job Summary

As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with processing transactions through the self-service area(s) and provide education on the correct and efficient use of self-service options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient shopping environment for customers.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to customers on the use of self-service options, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Monitor customer activity and intervene when necessary to ensure a smooth checkout process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any technical issues or concerns related to the self-service area(s).
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be comfortable with technology and have a basic understanding of cash handling procedures.
