Our Opportunity:

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Senior Manager, Retail Brick & Mortar Channel, TH, Canada to drive overall retail sales, profitability, and execution in our brick & mortar (B&M) restaurant channel.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set the overall Retail vision and strategic growth roadmap for the Tims in-restaurant channel across all B&M service modes (in-store, DT, app, kiosk, etc.)
  • Drive and influence B&M channel profitability by conducting holistic analysis on owner margins, inventory shrink/theft, and CAPEX scenarios to recommend ongoing optimizations to the B&M retail business model
  • Define target Retail guest segments, occasions, and need states for the B&M channel to help inform the Category team's assortment strategy and product innovation pipeline
  • Create a store grading framework using deep analytics of store format/site performance characteristics, while collaborating closely with Merchandising and Category to tailor retail assortment & fixture recommendations for restaurants across the system
  • Oversee the design & execution of Retail test markets with the Manager, Retail B&M and collaborate with Ops and Test Markets Team to ensure retail-specific insights & ops procedures are considered, created, and validated
  • Collaborate closely with the Ecomm team on an omni-channel Retail approach that maximizes sales/profitability and elevates guest experience both online and in-store
  • Assist with development and implementation of a Retail discounting & clearance strategy
  • Develop all National Retail owner communication memos and surveys
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Conceptual thinker with ability to design & evaluate new frameworks & business models
  • Analytical, data driven mindset and proficient with conducting quantitative analysis
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
