  • Wash dishes, pots/pans & maintain a clean kitchen

  • Prepare nourishments and snacks
  • Record temperatures of food & equipment
  • Attend/completes in-service education
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a Recognized Cooking Program (asset)
  • Cooking Experience in Long Term Care
  • Post-secondary diploma in food and nutrition management or post-secondary degree in food and nutrition (asset)
  • Ability to use all commercial food preparation equipment
  • Ability to follow production lists & recipes
  • Able to read, understand & follow therapeutic menus & resident diet orders
  • Read, write and understand English language
  • Safe food handlers Certificate
  • Vulnerable sector check
