Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise the execution of preventive maintenance plans to ensure systematic analysis, define corrective actions, and generate improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical support, perform inspections, and support the Engineering area in researching and assessing the best equipment available.
- Optimize reliability and maintainability of equipment by defining maintenance strategies, developing and supervising preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring systematic failure analysis.
- Guarantee technical resource availability and ensure a suitable minimum stock.
- Support the Engineering area in the research and assessment of the best equipment available and the start-up of new pieces of equipment.
- Draw up the maintenance cost budget and keep costs within agreed limits.
- Ensure the application of health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
- Comply with HSE procedures, report any incidents or observations, perform inspections, and participate in the investigation process.
- Implement preventive/corrective actions, keep updated the risk analysis, and the environmental aspect assessment.
- Participate in the development of maintenance information systems and support actions as required.
- Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
- Analyze, interpret, and recommend courses of action for more complex topics.
- Interact with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
- Act as a "shift leader" responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring work safety conditions.
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop staff, and manage HR-related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Mechatronic or mechanical specialization.
- Previous supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
Working Conditions:
- Day Shift, 8 am - 5 pm, with flexibility based on business needs.
- Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill.
