Aecon Utilities is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Associate to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will play a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective deployment of our telecommunications technicians across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the dispatch team, including managing emails, phone calls, and inquiries.
  • Dispatch telecom technicians via email and/or telephone for work across Canada, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
  • Learns, interprets, and applies organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain and organize document files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assists other staff in office duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both French and English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a focus on deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Work schedule flexibility, including evenings and/or weekends.
