Position Type: Non-Management
POSITION SUMMARY
- Respond to guest repair requests and communicate to resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment.
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and identify shut-off valves and utility shut-offs.
- Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities.
- Exhibit knowledge in various maintenance categories.
- Conduct surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items.
- Perform general housekeeping, inventory duties, and landscaping repairs.
- Utilize computer skills for work-related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and incidents.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and provide excellent guest service.
- Adhere to quality standards, build positive relationships, and support team goals.
- Communicate effectively and complete assigned job duties.
- Perform physical tasks independently or with assistance.
- Access and manage work information using computers.
- Conduct other job duties as necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
- Work Experience: Some general maintenance experience, especially in hotel engineering or maintenance.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- License/Certification: Valid Driver's License
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.93 to $26.88
