About the Role

Aecon is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project controls group, you will be responsible for providing project controls guidance and support to ongoing projects throughout the province of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project cost and control systems
  • Provide support in proposal and estimating efforts
  • Develop detailed, resource-loaded schedules in P6
  • Assist in setting up project accounting systems
  • Monitor project performance and ensure proper implementation of project control systems
  • Generate project status reports for internal management and customers
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing project schedule and cost reports
  • Implement change management procedures
Requirements
  • College and/or university degree in engineering or related field
  • 2-3 years of related project controls construction experience
  • Experience with Hard Dollar/InEight and SAP ERP systems
  • Knowledge of project management and project controls principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
