We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Tool Repair person in our plant in Tilbury, Ontario situated alongside the 401. The Maintenance Team is a talented and vital part of our production facility, recognized for their dedication and excellence in each of the Trades we employ. We are ready for another certified Moldmaker to join the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up the operations to prescribed tolerances of milling, grinding, drilling, sawing and boring machines, and lathes
  • Read and interpretting operations of product related referance charts, tables and blueprints
  • Select mechanical measuring/checking/layout tools and devices; perform mearuing /checking /layout operations
  • Select work piece materials and the required cutting tools and abrasives for metal removal operations; perform metal removal operations using hand and power tools
  • Perform finishing and assembly operations on molds; set-up molds on presses for testing purposes
  • Manufacture component parts and assemblies; test tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance on molds. Spotting and welding.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must hold a current and valid Moldmaker Certificate
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
