**Robot Technician**

**Task Description**:

- Travel throughout North America and Mexico.
- PLC/HMI Programming, including onsite support.
- Mig weld, Spot weld, Material Handling
- Provide remote/telephone support for customers out of town.
- Replace with
- Design and develop new programs for Robotic automation cells on Allen Bradley PLCs using Rslogix 5000, Studio logix etc.
- Design and develop HMI programs for the Automation cells using Allen Bradley’s Factory talk Studio.
- Setting up industrial communication such as Devicenet, Ethernet.
- Design and develop electrical prints using solidworks electrical software.
- Maintaining and modifying existing systems
- Work collaboratively with design engineers, operations engineers, and other internal staff.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving machines and equipment
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with the health and safety regulations
- Participate in machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Support other departments in the resolution of quality and productivity issues.

**Technical Competencies**:

- Capable to read and write electrical diagrams, schematics.
- Must have proven experience in PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Omron, etc.) and robotics.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work well in a group and independently.
- Knowledge of communication networks like Ethernet IP, Devicenet, IO Link.

**Qualifications**:

- Electrical/Controls engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience.
- Strong leadership abilities
- Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and energetic, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able and willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Able and willing to travel out of country.
- Valid Driver’s license and car.
- Valid passport
