Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Join our team at Davidson Health Centre as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's systems, equipment, and buildings.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs, including:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance
  • Repairing and replacing equipment and machinery as needed
  • Conducting inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
  • Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate
  • Pool Operator certificate
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment
