About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with operational experience and a passion for building and optimizing flows. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our fulfillment processes.
As the warehouse supervisor, you will be executing, developing, reviewing and implementing warehousing processes related to fulfillment to help the company scale its operations to support the growing demand for our products.
The work split is about 65% physical and 35% administrative.

En tant que superviseur d'entrepôt, vous exécuterez, développerez, examinerez et mettrez en œuvre les processus d'entreposage liés à l'exécution des commandes afin d'aider l'entreprise à développer ses opérations pour répondre à la demande croissante de nos produits.
Le travail est 65% du temps du travail physique et 35% de gestion et optimisation.

What you'll do

  • Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products;
  • Processing purchasing transactions; coordinating production work; dispatching crews;
  • Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements
  • Train workers in job duties
  • May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
  • Manage and organize inventory in the warehouse for easy access and tracking.
  • Conducted quality checks on products and ensured they met company standards before adding them to the inventory.
  • Maintained cleanliness and safety in the warehouse.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.

  • Superviser, planifier, assigner et contrôler le travail des commis chargés des tâches suivantes : expédition, réception, stockage, distribution et maintien des stocks de matériaux, de pièces et de produits
  • Traiter les transactions d'achat ; coordonner le travail de production
  • Résoudre divers problèmes et plaintes connexes et mettre en œuvre des mesures correctives et des améliorations de processus
  • Former les travailleurs aux tâches à accomplir
  • Peut effectuer les mêmes tâches que les travailleurs supervisés.
  • Gérer et organiser les stocks dans l'entrepôt pour en faciliter l'accès et le suivi.
  • Effectuer des contrôles de qualité sur les produits et s'assurer qu'ils répondent aux normes de l'entreprise avant de les ajouter à l'inventaire.
  • Maintenir la propreté et la sécurité dans l'entrepôt.
  • Identifier les possibilités d'optimisation des processus et mettre en œuvre des initiatives d'amélioration continue afin d'améliorer les opérations de l'entrepôt.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing warehouse operations, particularly in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Track record of managing fulfillment, ideally having handled a significant increase in order volumes.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of quality control measures and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement, implement process enhancements, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to develop and implement scalable solutions to accommodate growth.
  • Previous experience in leading warehouse teams.
  • Able to lift 60 pounds packages.

FRANÇAIS -

  • Baccalauréat en chaîne d'approvisionnement, en génie industriel ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Démontré succès dans la supervision des opérations d'entreposage, en particulier dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Expérience de la gestion de l'exécution des commandes, l'idéal étant d'avoir géré une augmentation significative du volume des commandes.
  • Connaissance des systèmes de gestion d'entrepôt (WMS) et d'autres technologies pertinentes pour améliorer l'efficacité.
  • Connaissance des mesures de contrôle de la qualité et des meilleures pratiques en matière d'opérations d'entreposage.
  • Capacité avérée à identifier les domaines susceptibles d'être améliorés, à mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus et à maintenir des normes de précision élevées.
  • Compétences en matière de planification, avec la capacité d'élaborer et de mettre en œuvre des solutions évolutives pour faire face à la croissance.
  • Expérience préalable de la direction d'équipes d'entrepôts.
  • Capacité de lever des boites de 60lbs.
