Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Host to join our team at WVRST Union Station. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce them to their server, fostering a sense of hospitality and community.
  • Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for our guests.
  • Respond to queries in a friendly and efficient manner, providing accurate information and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and flow, optimizing the guest experience and ensuring a seamless service.
  • Assist with side work, including cleaning, stocking, bussing, and running food, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve a common goal, providing support and assistance when needed.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Outgoing and warm, with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with high-volume situations and able to multitask effectively.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
About the Role
