Patient Transfer Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transfer Attendant to join our team at Priority Patient Transfer Service in Kingston, ON.
Job Summary:The Patient Transfer Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Transport patients via stretcher and wheelchair to and from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and private residences
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate records of patient transportation
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Standard First Aid with CPR + AED certification
- Minimum Class G driver's license with a clear Drivers Abstract
- Ability to lift 250 lbs with a partner
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Bilingualism is an asset
