As a Civil Superintendent, you will play a significant part in the success of our company, overseeing the execution of projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and develop Jr. Superintendents to achieve their full potential
- Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen, and laborers
- Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
- Develop and maintain good client relations through effective communication and problem-solving
- Oversee and approve job cost updates and cash flow projections
- Review and negotiate change orders
- Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports
- Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes as needed
- Approve or reject promotions up to General Foreman level
Requirements:
- 4 to 8+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes and software programs
- Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration

- Regular, reliable attendance
- Ability to work productively and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and clients
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
