Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of condition assessments and asset management plans for electrical systems.

As an Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer, you will play a key role in preparing simple plans, designs, calculations, costs, and bills of material in accordance with established codes, standards, drawings, or other specifications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying deficiencies and associated risks, as well as opportunities for optimization and their potential rewards.
  • Recommending actions to continuously monitor the condition and performance of electrical systems.
  • Executing actions and communicating resulting knowledge to stakeholders.
  • Defining requirements for new construction or existing building/system overhaul.
  • Creating Client Requirements Documents and Scope of Work documents.
  • Reviewing designs and developing maintenance procedures.
  • Developing System Performance Monitoring Plans and System Health Reports.
  • Working with regulatory and program authorities to ensure systems are configured and maintained per regulation.
  • Maintaining infrastructure configuration management.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your manager.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or membership in an engineering professional organization.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the province of Ontario or eligible to apply.
  • Relevant experience with electrical power systems design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Previous experience with high voltage transmission networks and transformer stations.
  • Project management experience.
