Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer to join our team at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL). As an Electrical Systems Responsible Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems at our Chalk River Laboratory site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess electrical system deficiencies and opportunities for optimization
  • Develop and implement plans to monitor and maintain electrical system performance
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure electrical systems are configured and maintained per regulation
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure configuration management processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in the province of Ontario or eligibility to apply
  • Relevant experience with electrical power systems design, operation, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Standards applicable to Canadian and Ontario conventional electrical installations and Canadian nuclear facilities
  • Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC) or equivalent
