Liquor Store Associate

Otter Co-op is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Liquor Store Associate to join our team at our Kitsilano location in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Process transactions, handle refunds and returns, and activate gift cards with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure the register drawer is balanced at the end of each shift, adhering to company procedures
- Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves to maintain a visually appealing store environment
- Receive, inspect, and store deliveries in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain a clean and organized store and storage areas, adhering to health and safety standards
- Utilize product knowledge to promote sales and drive revenue growth
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Liquor Store Manager
- Serving it Right license is required
- Previous liquor retail experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and adaptability are essential
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to a SAFE working environment
- Must be over 19 years of age
- Open availability and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
