Join our team at Parkland Dental Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care and a patient-centric approach.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working closely with our experienced dentists and hygienists to ensure seamless treatment.
Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with modern technology, and our dedicated team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, including chairside assisting and instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols and maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
- Prepare treatment rooms according to infection control and practice protocols
- Develop strong patient relationships while maintaining professional behavior
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements:
- Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset
