Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Co-op Student to join our team in Vancouver or Toronto. As an Actuarial Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including financial reporting, data analysis, and actuarial modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including month-end and quarter-end valuations
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain actuarial models to analyze and manage risk
  • Support the actuarial team in the development of business strategies and plans
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, Python, and R software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
