Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dairy Frozen Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. Key Responsibilities
  • Zone the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-navigate shopping experience for customers.
  • Rotate stock and check for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.
  • Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Maintain features and ensure the area is neat, clean, and organized to create a positive shopping experience for customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
