We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Best Western Wayside Inn. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and determine size of food portions
  • Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • $17.50 per hour
  • 40 hours per week
