Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead our team in Ottawa, with a focus on operational planning, compliance, and patient safety.

At Kilborn Dental Centre, we have been proudly serving the Ottawa area for over 32 years with our highly qualified professionals, safe environment, and warm atmosphere. Conveniently located in the Alta Vista area, our team is dedicated to outstanding customer service and exceeding the expectations of every patient.

We pride ourselves on providing quality dental care and a wide range of services for the whole family, including general dentistry, hygiene services, oral surgery, Invisalign, children's services, cosmetic treatments, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute plans to improve daily operations of the practice, ensuring maximum productivity and operational excellence.
  • Constantly review clinic environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Compliance, DC Institute, and Human Resources to ensure the clinic is fully compliant and meets provincial health regulation standards.
  • Manage and oversee all compliance programs within the practice, while leading by example to ensure patient safety is a top priority.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the team to improve productivity, engagement, and retention of patients.
  • Drive the implementation of company programs, policies, and procedures by supporting action plans and directly motivating the team to meet operational and company objectives.

About You:

  • 3-5 years experience in Dental Practice Management.
  • Clinical experience considered an asset.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role contributing to business operations, including staff scheduling, finances, inventory, and people management.
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience with the dental software system AbelDent and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining health regulation and operational standards.
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs.
