Customer Care Advisor in Investments role requires delivering high-level customer service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to business strategies.
As a Customer Care Advisor in Investments, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to existing customers, providing high-level customer service, and championing a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships. You will also develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base of assigned products, services, and digital channels, and accurately resolve customer problems within approved authority limits. Additionally, you will recognize and act on opportunities for business retention and reinforce the customer relationship with the Bank through the application of the Customer Experience Model.
- Making outbound calls to existing customers regarding their investment accounts
- Providing high-level customer service and championing a customer-focused culture
- Developing and maintaining a detailed knowledge base of assigned products, services, and digital channels
- Accurately resolving customer problems within approved authority limits
- Recognizing and acting on opportunities for business retention and reinforcing the customer relationship with the Bank
- Developing effective questioning skills to gather customer information accurately and comprehensively
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- In the process or has the intention of obtaining their CSC (Canadian Securities Course), IFIC (Investment Funds Institute of Canada) and IFSE
- Knowledge of the regulations and standards governing the mutual fund industry, including policies specific to Scotia Securities Inc. (SSI), the Mutual Fund Dealers Association (MFDA), considered an asset
- Previous experience working in a customer service role or sales role
- Strong communication, active listening and experience working in a fast-paced results-focused environment
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Some key information about this role:
- Hours of work: Tuesday-Friday 1pm-9pm and Saturday 10am-6pm
- Expectations is to become fully licensed/accredited Mutual Fund Professional
