Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Hardening associate with 7+ years of experience.

Must Skills:

  • To assist with creating hardening playbooks for Ansible and/SALT deployment
  • Improved Security scores and expanded usage of SALT and/or Ansible automation.
  • Plan, develop and maintain a Ansible automation projects/roles/work flows.
  • Primarily activities would be on RedHat 7 and 8 but could also be Solaris 11.4
  • Maintain and update the centralised inventory of managed hosts and resources
  • Reusing existing code and simplifying playbook development with Ansible Roles and Ansible Content Collections
  • Check servers for OS (RedHat Linux /Solaris) Vulnerabilities and configuration management as reported by internal teams
  • Work closely with patching team , provide the plan to mitigate the OS related vulnerabilities, execute ansible playbooks to remove vulnerabilities and verification
  • thereafter.
  • Run server hardening scripts as part of the post build tasks for Solaris/Linux build to meet target score
  • Work with vendors for recommended fixes for the Vulnerabilities.
  • Open change management records to implement the tasks related to server hardening
  • Hands on experience in RedHat 7 & 8 and Solaris 11.4
  • Documentation and creating SOP for each playbook(Ansible, Solaris or clusters)
